This new job has taught me that just when you think you have it nailed down, some other thing you didnt think of in the first phase of development will inevitably pop up. Good thing is I think when the time comes to open up shop with a brew pub/brewery (10 years....?), I'll be ready. You want in??????? @ Deez

This new job has taught me that just when you think you have it nailed down, some other thing you didnt think of in the first phase of development will inevitably pop up. Good little tips about basic business stuff, and otherwise just a nice story about a homebrewer made good. Do not let Andy talk you into opening a pub without actually thinking about it first. When he was working on me, he made everything sound so simple it was a bit funny. And by funny, I mean delusional. Sort of like business book-lite. Theres one showing in PDX proper, though I was surprised it's not at one of the McMennemins theatres. I read Sam C's book, 'Brewing Up A Business', and it was pretty good- light for a 'business' book (which was ok with me), but worth a read. You guys going to check this out?
